Our colleague Jon Alvarez has been shortlisted for the 2021 ENCATC Research Award, presented by ENCATC, the European network for cultural management and policy. The award is given annually to the author of a doctoral thesis on any subject related to cultural management and policy.
The thesis submitted for the award deals with the historical evolution of policies for the enhancement and management of protected traditional districts (denken chiku) in Japan, as Jon explains in the ACE webinar.
The awards ceremony took place on October 22, online and open to the public, within the ENCATC annual congress (October 19-22, 2021).
