ACE Japan

Who we are

ACE Japan (Association of Spanish Scientists in Japan) is an independent, non-profit organization that connects Spanish researchers, academics and professionals who carry out their scientific work in Japan. Founded in 2014 with the aim of strengthening ties between the scientific communities of Spain and Japan, ACE Japan is dedicated to fostering the exchange of knowledge, promoting collaborations and providing support to its members in their professional development and cultural adaptation in Japan.

The mission of ACE Japan is to represent and give voice to the Spanish scientific community in Japan, providing support for the integration and professional development of its members.

We are dedicated to strengthening ties between both countries and promoting social recognition of science and technology, highlighting the value of international collaboration.

Our vision

ACE Japan aims to be a reference network for scientific cooperation between Spain and Japan, offering a space for support and growth for researchers.

We position ourselves as a bridge of knowledge and collaboration, working to ensure that science and innovation flourish in both countries and benefit the global community.

  • Representation and support for the communityACE Japan acts as an advocate for the Spanish scientific community in Japan, offering resources and guidance to researchers to facilitate their development in the Japanese environment.
  • Connecting and networking: We promote networking through meetings and collaborations, connecting Spanish and Japanese researchers and professionals to create synergies and long-term scientific relationships.
  • Visibility of Spanish science: Through the organization of events, publications and collaborations, ACE Japan gives visibility to the scientific achievements of Spanish researchers in Japan, promoting their recognition.

Our actions

  • Organization of training and scientific activitiesACE Japan organizes workshops, seminars and symposia, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and access to the latest scientific, technological and innovation developments.
  • Facilitating access to resources and opportunities: We offer information and support in accessing scholarships, funding and resources, helping researchers to boost their projects and careers in the Japanese field.
  • Promoting international cooperationACE Japan is positioned as a bridge for scientific collaboration between Spain and Japan, promoting joint projects that benefit both the academic communities of both countries and global society.
